Test Developer

Key Responsibilities

1. The job holder will need to work with the project team to define and create overall Quality Assurance strategy for the Framework project and ensure that it is being applied throughout the duration of the project.
2. The job holder will serve as an escalation point for all issues involving testing.
3. The job holder will be required to work closely with IT and internal Business Clients.

Key qualifications required:

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance role within Financial Services IT.
2. Hands on System, Acceptance and Non-Functional Testing Experience.
3. Experience working with Development, UX and Business teams.
4. Working knowledge of any of the following - Selenium, QTP
5. Ability to aid Development with fault finding.
6. Ability to define Acceptance tests and push Development on completeness.
7. Have the ability to operate in a dynamic environment of growth and change
8. Flexibility and the ability to multi task.

Academic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2. 3+ Years of Experience in Software
3. Prior experience in application development.
4. Define Test Strategies/plan for building test automation suites for multiple applications.
5. Expertise in building automation suites from scratch and ensure maximum automation coverage.
6. Should have involved in developing/maintaining automation frameworks.
7. Extensive Knowledge of Advanced VBScript / JavaScript.
8. Should have good exposure to Web Application Automation preferably hands-on expertise in Automating Applications built using jQuery/GWT etc.
9. Should have hand-on experience in Backend Automation (Database/XML) & Server Side Automation.
10. Should have Basic Knowledge of SQL & Unix.
